Showers, chemical disposal and launderette with automatic machines and dryer. A park shop offers a comprehensive range of groceries, sweets, ice cream, milk and papers. A river bus runs from Naburn Locks to the center of York.

An hourly bus service runs from the park to the center of York. Adult cycle hire is available at the park office. Coarse fishing on park in the River Ouse is available.

A B.H.S. approved Riding School is next to the park. A cycle track runs from York to Selby, only mile from the park.

Ardroil beach, Uig, Isle of Lewis.

This is the most gorgeous enormous beach in a very secluded place. It is a place for total R and R. (only orange mobile works)Very basic facilities, no showers or pub but scenery makes it worth it.

Big site with big plots, if you can use it go for the fully serviced plots they are bigger. The Tent Campers seemed to be put down at the bottom under the trees but the fully serviced plots are up at the top in the sun.

Big centre grassy area for kids to play. and good games room. Nice walks and hotels for food nearby and the chip shop across the road is good. Your receipt from the site gets you into the castle grounds free. Worth a look.

Hopeman station Site

Nice friendly, on the beach, nice walks and within 5 mins of Pub, chip shop and Chinese restaurant

Toilets ok too.

Banff Links

Right on the beach again, fall asleap to the sound of the surf. very good facilities but if you want hookup  watch where you park as there is not enough connections for all the plots.

when we were there the two caravans to the left of us used both connections on our plot as there were no connections on their plots.

Nice walk into Banff along the coast. 1.5 miles (they said??)

Like Banff this is another council site (over 60s get a good discount on all Grampian Council sites)

On the beach again, bit of a hike up the hill to shops, interesting village to walk around not as lively as Banff.

harbour nice and a clean wee pub there. The warden lady is a laugh.
